Membre du collectif Le Carré Rouge,
il tire ses photos à l’agrandisseur depuis 2022
C’est à travers la sérigraphie aussi que le grain
de ses photos argentiques trouve matière.
Architecte de formation et maçon saisonnier,
l’artisanat toujours présent dans son travail
devient aussi parfois son sujet.
Julien approaches photography as a journal
of fragile and fleeting moments,
where the ordinary finds its place.
A member of the collective Le Carré Rouge,
he has been printing his photographs in the darkroom since 2022.
It is also through screen printing that the texture
of his analog photographs takes shape.
Trained as an architect
and working seasonally as a bricklayer,
the presence of craftsmanship in his work
sometimes even becomes his subject.
